Heading into the conclusion of Holy week, my mind is automatically drawn to mercy, forgiveness and above all, love. A lot has changed in the past year (which is actually the time I started this blog). Most of these changes were hard at the time but are definitely God working in me, inspite of me. Although I’ve let people down, I am starting to see some of those relationships salvaged while I have formed many irreplaceable bonds in the short time I’ve been here in Texas.
One undeniable truth that I continually marvel at, is that the love of God so blatantly demonstrated to us on the cross is not a fragile love. We cannot knock it off course. We cannot lessen its effect. We cannot negate its power in our lives. We must decide whether to embrace the all-encompassing forgiveness of Jesus or turn our backs and run. What will you decide? And who will you take with you in your decision?
There is nothing that can ever lessen the power of what happened this weekend. Remember it. Preach it. Live it loud.
